Trivan founded Anchor Group in 2007, having spent over 12 years in asset and portfolio management. He was previously Head of RBS Coutts Investment Services for Switzerland and before that a Senior Investment Advisor at Citibank. Trivan has an Executive MBA from IMD Lausanne, an M.Sc. in Finance from ESC in Lyon, and a B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics and speaks fluent English and French.
Dweep has over 10 years of experience advising or investing into companies across the growth cycle in Industrial IoT, financial services, energy and consumer sectors in US, Europe, and Asia. He was previously Head of Venture Investments at Momenta Partners, where he led 7 industrial IoT investments. Previously he was Managing Director at Touchstone Ventures, a direct investment firm advising family offices on growth-stage investments, served as Director, Strategy and Business Development for Family Services at UBS Wealth Management, and led a UN financed market entry and financing program in Kenya. A telecommunications engineer by training, he worked for over 6 years with Lucent and Hughes. He has worked in India, USA, Kenya, and China and is currently based in Switzerland.
Andriana has over 10 years of experience in asset and wealth management. Prior to joining Anchor, she held senior Investment Advisor positions in Coutts Private Bank and in Deutsche Bank, both in Geneva, serving UHNW clients across both Europe and India. Andriana’s has a B.Sc. in Finance and Banking Management from the University of Piraeus in Greece, and the Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society of the UK. Born in Greece, Andriana speaks fluent English, French, Italian and (of course) Greek.
Raphaël Rey is an expert in financial and international company law. After being admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2001, Raphael worked at UBS Wealth Management & Business Banking, in Financial Planning and Strategic Development & Management. Since 2013, Raphaël has been is a practicing partner at Banna & Quinodoz. Raphaël was born in 1973 and obtained his law degree from the University of Geneva in 1997.
Curt has over 20 years of experience holding senior positions in Nomura, ING Barings & Nikko advising institutional clients on both portfolio management and trading strategies. He has in-depth knowledge of emerging markets and has been instrumental in advising major Swiss institutions on their investments in Asia. Most recently, Curt was Head of the Advisory Desk for Financial Intermediaries and Family Offices at Bank Sarasin. Curt holds a B.A. in Speech Communications and Rhetoric, Lynchburg College, Virginia and Masters in Finance from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri.
Raghav is co-founder of India’s third largest angel network and co-founder of Neoleap, East India’s first private startup accelerator. In the past he has been part of the management team of Brand Capital, an initiative of the Times of India Group, which grew to become a USD 1bn program, and was in the strategy and alliances team of a USD 200mn greenfield real estate fund for Ambuja Realty and a USD 250mn infrastructure fund for SREI Group. Raghav holds an MBA from University of Leeds, UK.
Emanuele has over 7 years of experience in early- and growth-stage investing and in assisting entrepreneurs on market strategy and corporate finance. He is deeply embedded in the European innovation ecosystems and serves as a mentor to various start-up accelerators in Switzerland. He previously managed a club deal investor network in Winterthur and was associate at a leading sustainability focused corporate finance firm in Zurich.
Wolfgang Lehmacher is a global thought leader and practitioner in supply chain and logistics. He was Director, Head of Supply Chain and Transport Industries at the World Economic Forum in Geneva and New York, Partner and Managing Director (China and India) at the global strategy firm CVA in Hong Kong, and President and CEO of GeoPost Intercontinental, the global expansion vehicle of French La Poste in Paris. He is assisting stakeholders across the global supply chain ecosystem – from startups, to asset owners, to Fortune 50 companies – in upscaling and transforming their organizations. He is judge Automotive Logistics Awards Europe, member of the IATA Air Cargo Innovation Awards Jury and the Logistikweisen, a think tank under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry BMVI. Lehmacher is FT, Forbes, Fortune, BI contributor and author of business books, including The Global Supply Chain.
Michael is an expert in the areas of financial technology and banking. He was previously COO of Payconiq mobile payments and CEO of Digicash in Luxembourg. Prior to that, Michael had a successful career in corporate banking with Citigroup, BNP Paribas Fortis and Barclays across London, Amsterdam, Zurich and Brussels. He joined the Luxembourg Stock Exchange as Chief Commercial Officer, before joining the Fintech industry. Following the successful fundraising round, and first PIS licence application, the board of directors negotiated a successful exit and he has been advising Fintech and Regtech start-ups on scale-ups. Michael holds an LLB in English and French law and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde Business School.
Philippe Planchat is a Special advisor to Anchor for wealth management and fintech. Philippe is an expert in the field of banking and wealth management mergers.
He is also the co-founder of eWan Alliance S.A. a company spezialised in strategies, organisations and informations systems of banks and multi-family offices.
Prevoiusly, Philippe was a Partner at Arthur Anderson and then founding partner of Arthur D. Little which was acquired by Altran in 2011. He is also a advisor to financial regulators
Philippe in Paris at HEC and also holds a Masters in Finance and Economics from ESSEC.
Juan has 10 years of experience in business development and corporate finance. Prior to joining Anchor International, he held financial and consulting roles at HSBC Private Bank, Cargill International and the World Economic Forum. Juan holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland and specialised in Political Economy at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Ronay Tuncer is an experienced business development and operations manager. Having worked with Cargill as Contract Analyst and subsequently leading business development for My Drop in the Oceans. She is currently operations manager for the Swiss Photo Club and supports Anchor Group on HR and business management.
Andrea brings over 18 years of investment banking experience in private equity, M&A and corporate business development strategy. He currently serves as CFO and Head of Investments for a Swiss investment company funded by Chinese investors. Previously, he has served as Senior Corporate Advisor for overseas investment strategy at Legend Holdings and as Executive Director for Private Equity Investments at Fosun Group. Prior to that, Andrea worked at UBS focusing on corporate finance and M&A cross-border transactions for UHNW clients. Andrea holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics, Bocconi University, Milan and is a CIIA holder.
Nicholas has over 15 years of experience in finance and private banking having held positions in the back, middle and front offices. This diversity of roles has provided perspectives of both business and client needs allowing the implementation of innovative business and investment solutions. He has a degree In Finance and an MBA from Webster University and, in his spare time, is currently reading mathematics through the Open University.
A German national, Daniel has more than 15 years of technology investing experience. He is Founder and Managing Partner of Swiss-based Convergence Partners, supporting European companies with growth capital and their international acceleration to Asia. He was previously an Investment Partner at Jadeberg Partners, a Swiss VC fund. Prior, Daniel worked at London-based Man Group, focusing on global technology investments, and worked in technology investment banking at Credit Suisse in London and Madrid and in the Corporate VC division of Intel Corporation. Daniel holds an MBA from Cass Business School London and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Simon advises Anchor Group clients on cross-border investments and acquisitions in East Asia. Previously he was Director at Xiaomi Corporation, taking charge of an RMB fund of 12bn, leading ten deals, and closing six projects of more than RMB 500mn. Notably, he closed deals with Galaxy Core (Camera), Shuangshi Technology (LCD and TFT), and Ruixiang Technology (Aerials), also leading Xiaomi investments in the USA. Prior to that, Simon was Vice President at JIC Capital Management, responsible for negotiations with foreign institutes including Providence, California Energy Committee, and the South African Department of Science and Technology. There, he managed over ten $1bn projects, including the Beijing-California Clean Technology Fund, ($600mn), and the China-South African Technology Fund (RMB 1bn). Elsewhere, Simon worked at PwC’s Deals Department and China Practice in Auckland, guiding companies such as Airworks, Cofco, and Fonterra Shareholders’ Fund on acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic alliances.
Hayk joined Anchor in September 2020. Previously, he completed internships in equity research at Quirin Privatbank and Amber Capital in Frankfurt and London. During his studies, Hayk also gained experience at Société Générale’s Lyxor ETF Sales for 1.5 years. Hayk has a B.Sc. in Banking and Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
