Partners

Mr. Trivan Mathur (Switzerland): Managing Partner, is actively involved in all of Anchor's businesses and client management. Prior to founding Anchor, Trivan spent over 12 years in asset and portfolio management where he was Head of RBS Coutts Investment Services for Switzerland and before that, a Senior Investment Advisor at Citibank. Trivan's academic background includes the B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics, an M.Sc. in Finance from ESC in Lyon and an executive degree from IMD Lausanne.

 

Mrs. Andriana Oikonomopoulou (Switzerland): Partner, has over 10 years of experience in the financial sector, with focus on asset and wealth management. She has specialized in investment advisory for UHNW individuals across Europe and India and held senior Investment Advisor positions in Coutts Bank and Deutsche Bank, both in Geneva. Andriana's academic background includes a B.Sc. in Finance and Banking Management from the University of Piraeus and the IMC from the CFA Society of the United Kingdom.

Mr. Raphael Rey (Switzerland): Partner & General Counsel, is an expert in financial and international company law. After being admitted to the Geneva Bar, Raphael worked at UBS within Wealth Management & Business Banking, Product & Service, Financial Planning, and Strategic Development & Management support teams. Raphael is a partner at Anchor group and a practising partner at Banna & Quinodoz (attorneys at law). 

Directors

Mr. Jérôme Thoenig (Switzerland): Director, is a sales professional and consultant with over 20 years experience in the financial industry. He has been an investor relations officer and fund raiser for hedge funds and infrastructure asset managers. Prior to this, Jérôme was Head of the institutional client servicing desk within the Alternative Investment Group at HSBC Private Bank. Jerome’s academic background includes a diploma of advanced studies in Strategy from Paris-Nanterre University and a Masters Degree in Finance from Paris-Dauphine University.

Mr. Nicholas Payne (Switzerland): Director, has over 15 years of financial experience and has a wide range of knowledge in finance and private banking having held positions in the back, middle and front offices. This diversity of roles has provided perspectives of both business and client needs allowing the implementation of innovative business and investment solutions. He has a degree In Finance and an MBA from Webster University and, in his spare time, is currently reading mathematics through the Open University.

Mr. Curt Schultz (Switzerland): Director, has over 20 years of experience holding senior positions in Nomura, ING Barings & Nikko advising institutional clients on both portfolio management and trading strategies. He has in-depth knowledge of emerging markets and has been instrumental in advising major Swiss institutions on their investments in Asia. Most recently, Curt was Head of the Advisory Desk for Financial Intermediaries and Family Offices at Bank Sarasin. Curt holds a  B.A. in Speech Communications and Rhetoric, Lynchburg College, Virginia and Masters in Finance from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri.

Mr. Emmanuel G. Rytzell (Switzerland): Consultant, Involved in Anchor’s organizational, compliance and business development, his 17 year experience in the banking industry (BNP-Paribas, BCV, Credit Suisse, Axa) as relationship, shipping and general staff manager are at the origin of his network and financial scope. He has also held several senior positions in the commodity trading industry, as an entrepreneur in the construction field and as consultant. He holds a MSc. in Business Administration from the University of Lausanne, is Certified International Financial Analyst (CIFA) and is an International Project Manager Associate (IPMA). He speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish fluently.

Mr. Saket Narula (London): Director, has over 12 years of experience as a finance professional specialising in Investment Banking. Saket has previously worked in Financial Sponsors & Leveraged Finance at Credit Suisse Securities in Europe, Wachovia Securities in the USA and Kotak Mahindra Bank in India. Saket holds a B.Sc. in Commerce from the McIntire School and minors in Systems Engineering & Technology Management Policy from the Engineering Department, both at the University of Virginia, USA.

Independent Consultants and advisors

Mr. Philippe Planchat (Switzerland): Independent Consultant, is an expert in the field of banking mergers. He is also the founder and co-owner of eWan Alliance SA where he specialises in the strategies, organizations and information systems of banks and financial Institutions. He has spent most of his career as a partner in various consulting firms. Additionally, he is currently an active investor, director or adviser of several different firms that are trading, asset management and technology companies.

Mr. Dweep Chanana (Switzerland): Advisor, has 10 years of experience advising on or investing into early- and established businesses, and 6 years in high-tech startups and enterprises. He previously founded a direct investment advisory firm and Switzerland’s first emerging market investment club, leading 5 transactions in financial services/fintech, renewable energy, and water management. He was also Director, Strategy & Business Development for Family Advisory at UBS advising clients on impact and direct investments, and led a market entry and financing program in Kenya, developing business plans for Microsoft, Voxiva, and two mid-sized agribusinesses. An active angel investor, he is an engineer by training and has a B.E. from University of Delhi, India, and an MBA from the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
