Mr. Trivan Mathur (Switzerland): Managing Partner, is actively involved in all of Anchor's businesses and client management. Prior to founding Anchor, Trivan spent over 12 years in asset and portfolio management where he was Head of RBS Coutts Investment Services for Switzerland and before that, a Senior Investment Advisor at Citibank. Trivan's academic background includes the B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics, an M.Sc. in Finance from ESC in Lyon and an executive degree from IMD Lausanne.

Mrs. Andriana Oikonomopoulou (Switzerland): Partner, has over 10 years of experience in the financial sector, with focus on asset and wealth management. She has specialized in investment advisory for UHNW individuals across Europe and India and held senior Investment Advisor positions in Coutts Bank and Deutsche Bank, both in Geneva. Andriana's academic background includes a B.Sc. in Finance and Banking Management from the University of Piraeus and the IMC from the CFA Society of the United Kingdom.

Mr. Dweep Chanana (Switzerland): Partner, has over 10 years of experience advising or investing into companies across the growth cycle in Industrial IoT, financial services, energy and consumer sectors in US, Europe, and Asia. He was previously Head of Venture Investments at Momenta Partners, where he led 7 industrial IoT investments. Previously he was Managing Director at Touchstone Ventures, a direct investment firm advising family offices on growth-stage investments, served as Director, Strategy and Business Development for Family Services at UBS Wealth Management, and led a UN financed market entry and financing program in Kenya. A telecommunications engineer by training, he worked for over 6 years with Lucent and Hughes. He has worked in India, USA, Kenya, and China and is currently based in Switzerland.

Mr. Raphael Rey (Switzerland): Partner & General Counsel, is an expert in financial and international company law. After being admitted to the Geneva Bar, Raphael worked at UBS within Wealth Management & Business Banking, Product & Service, Financial Planning, and Strategic Development & Management support teams. Raphael is a partner at Anchor group and a practising partner at Banna & Quinodoz (attorneys at law). 


Mr. Neil El Hachem (London): Associate Partner, Neil has over 10 years of experience in listed and private equity investing in Europe and North America, and was most recently with Riverrock, targeting direct lower mid-market Private Equity investments with an Enterprise Value of between €20-200mn. He started his career with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in 2005 in Paris, and from 2007 - 2013 worked at The Olayan Group, a global multi-billion investment fund, where he was primarily responsible for pan-European private equity investments from London, but also covered listed equity investments during a stint in New York. Neil holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School, and a Bachelor of Economics from the University Paris - La Sorbonne.

Mr. Jérôme Thoenig (Switzerland): Director, is a sales professional and consultant with over 20 years experience in the financial industry. He has been an investor relations officer and fund raiser for hedge funds and infrastructure asset managers. Prior to this, Jérôme was Head of the institutional client servicing desk within the Alternative Investment Group at HSBC Private Bank. Jerome’s academic background includes a diploma of advanced studies in Strategy from Paris-Nanterre University and a Masters Degree in Finance from Paris-Dauphine University.

Mr. Nicholas Payne (Switzerland): Director, has over 15 years of financial experience and has a wide range of knowledge in finance and private banking having held positions in the back, middle and front offices. This diversity of roles has provided perspectives of both business and client needs allowing the implementation of innovative business and investment solutions. He has a degree In Finance and an MBA from Webster University and, in his spare time, is currently reading mathematics through the Open University.

Mr. Curt Schultz (Switzerland): Director, has over 20 years of experience holding senior positions in Nomura, ING Barings & Nikko advising institutional clients on both portfolio management and trading strategies. He has in-depth knowledge of emerging markets and has been instrumental in advising major Swiss institutions on their investments in Asia. Most recently, Curt was Head of the Advisory Desk for Financial Intermediaries and Family Offices at Bank Sarasin. Curt holds a  B.A. in Speech Communications and Rhetoric, Lynchburg College, Virginia and Masters in Finance from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri.

Mr. Emmanuel G. Rytzell (Switzerland): Consultant, Involved in Anchor’s organizational, compliance and business development, his 17 year experience in the banking industry (BNP-Paribas, BCV, Credit Suisse, Axa) as relationship, shipping and general staff manager are at the origin of his network and financial scope. He has also held several senior positions in the commodity trading industry, as an entrepreneur in the construction field and as consultant. He holds a MSc. in Business Administration from the University of Lausanne, is Certified International Financial Analyst (CIFA) and is an International Project Manager Associate (IPMA). He speaks English, French, Italian and Spanish fluently.

Independent Consultants & Advisors

Mr. Philippe Planchat (Switzerland): Independent Consultant, is an expert in the field of banking mergers. He is also the founder and co-owner of eWan Alliance SA where he specialises in the strategies, organizations and information systems of banks and financial Institutions. He has spent most of his career as a partner in various consulting firms. Additionally, he is currently an active investor, director or adviser of several different firms that are trading, asset management and technology companies.

Mr. Dhruv Sodhi (India): A Business Development specialist with extensive expertise in the telcom industry, Dhruv has led sales, marketing and business development roles handling large cross functional teams with leading organizations such as Tata and Airtel. Schooled in Sanawar, Dhruv is a (H) graduate from Delhi University and has an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Cardiff Business School, U.K.

Rahul Vohra (Dubai): Independent Consultant, has 32 years of experience, working for major corporations in various parts of the world. His most recent assignment was to head the global private banking business for ICICI bank, the second largest Indian bank. He was in that role for six years and scaled up the business significantly.  Prior to that, he was the head of NRI private banking business for Asia, for Societe Generale bank, based out of Singapore. He has also worked for ABN AMRO bank in The Netherlands, heading the product function for the global Private Bank, as well as working in Dubai where he set up and managed the consumer banking business.  Additionally, he has worked for Citibank and Unilever in India.
